Everyday Care (Between Washes):

• Wipe your mat down with a damp cloth after practice if you feel it needs it
• Hang to dry completely in the shade before rolling or storing
• Avoid direct sunlight when drying

Hand Washing (Recommended)

• Fill a tub or basin with cold water.
• Use a natural detergent (citric acid free), like soap nut powder or a gentle plant-based laundry soap
• Gently hand wash your mat
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water
• Hang to dry in the shade and avoid direct sunlight

Machine Washing (If Necessary)

• Only use a front load or high efficiency machine (no agitator).
• Select a delicate or hand wash cycle with cold water.
• Use soap nuts or a natural detergent (citric acid free).
• Do not tumble dry. Always hang to dry in a shaded area.

Wash Frequency

• Active yogis: wash around once a month
• Less active yogis: wash only as needed (every 3-6 months)
